Melica and Jane created a catapult engineering design challenge! Check out their challenge below.

1. Sketch out your catapult design using pencil + paper
2. Follow along with the video to make your own catapult
3. Test out your catapult by launching the projectile (object being launched) and observing projectile’s trajectory (curved path an object follows when launched into air)
4. Measure the distance between starting and ending points
5. Make any changes/additions to your catapult. Try adjusting the position of the lever (bar that rests on fulcrum) and/or fulcrum (supporting point of lever)
6. Test your catapult again
7. Try to launch it as high or as far as you can! Then try to use your catapult to hit a target
