In partnership with Electric City Aquarium & Reptile Den, our Marine Life Center welcomes Pearl, a California Round Ray (Urobatis halleri). This exciting addition gives kids and families a chance to explore the wonders of marine life—right here in State College!
We’re making marine science more accessible for Central PA families; inspiring curiosity, wonder, and hands-on learning through up-close encounters with marine life.

Summer STEM Camp Sponsorship
Discovery Space will be back for our eleventh year of science-themed camps in summer 2026! We offer camps for children ages four to fourteen. Each camp is a mix of fun, science, technology, engineering, and more!
We rely on sponsors and contributions to help fulfill the mission of providing engaging science experiences that spark creativity, curiosity, and imagination.
Camp sponsorships offer you the opportunity to support these camps while promoting your business at the same time. Sponsorship funds support camp operations, activity supplies and experiment materials, and scholarships for families facing financial barriers.

Our Amazon Wish List is full of items that help fuel our programs, providing hands-on experiences for learners of all ages and offsetting program costs so we can serve even more kids!
Community Access Program (CAP)
Discovery Space’s Community Access Program gives community members, area nonprofits and social service agencies access to the science center. This program provides memberships and camp scholarships to families who could not otherwise afford them, and free admission passes to organizations who serve underrepresented groups. Donating to this fund allows Discovery Space to reach more families throughout the area.
