Our Day Camps provide the perfect mix of hands-on STEM activities and creative exploration, all in a fun and safe environment. Discover the fascinating science behind electricity! In this hands-on camp, youâll learn how circuits work and explore the ways electricity powers and transforms our daily lives.

Discovery Space is pleased to offer a full schedule of in-person camps every summer! Each camp is a week-long set of activities based on a unique STEM theme.
Camps run from 9am to 4pm or as a half-day from 9am-12pm, as noted in each listing. Add extended care (for before and/or after camp) for an additional feeâ allowing drop-off as early as 8am and pick-up as late as 5:00pm.

2025 Elementary Camps | Ages 6-10
Raindrop Roundup: June 16-20

Sleuth Squad: July 14-18

Explore the journey of food from farm to table! Campers will discover where our food comes from, learning the science behind farming and how crops make their way from the field to our plates through engaging activities.

2025 Middle School Camps | Ages 11-14
Drone Lab: June 16-20

Curious about how drones fly and what makes them work? In this camp, campers will explore the science behind drone technology and get hands-on experience building their very own drone.
The Basics of Pottery: June 23-27
9am-11am (ages 11-14); 11am-1pm (ages 15-18) | Member $220 | Non-member $230
This week-long workshop at The Rivetâs pottery studio will introduce campers to various techniques, including wheel throwing, slip casting, and handbuilding. At the end of the workshop, each student's creations will be glazed and fired, ready for pickup at a later date.
Thread, Ink, and Vinyl: June 30-July 2 (3 day)

Create a personalized tote bag and t-shirt using screen printing techniques and machine sewing! Campers will design their own custom graphics in Adobe Illustrator, then bring their creations to life with our vinyl cutter and screen printing setup. They'll leave with a one-of-a-kind tote bag and t-shirt showcasing their unique designs!
Fab Lab: July 21-July 25

Let machines do the work! In this camp, campers will explore precision fabrication techniques such as laser cutting, 3D printing, vinyl cutting, and more, discovering how technology helps us bring creative ideas to life.
Glow: July 28-Aug 1 (Full Day Camp)

Gain hands-on woodshop experience and develop leadership skills in this camp, where campers will collaborate to build a community project. Through teamwork and practical woodworking techniques, theyâll create something meaningful while learning valuable skills for the future.
Glow camp is an opportunity for self-identifying females and nonbinary individuals to gain leadership, construction, and design skills in fields where females are traditionally underrepresented.
TechThreads- Wearable Electronics: Aug 4-8

Campers will learn to design and create their own wearable electronics through hands-on projects, combining creativity with engineering to build functional and fashionable tech.
Planks to Projects: Aug 11-15

This camp is your chance to turn a simple 2' by 4' board into something extraordinary. With access to the woodshop and expert guidance, youâll design, cut, build, and finish your own custom projectâyour imagination is the only limit!

Discovery Space members can register for camps starting (TBA). Non-members can register starting (TBA). Enter the online registration portal or read the registration instructions.
Please Note: Age groups for camps ensure that we meet the developmental needs of our campers, while also providing a fun and engaging STEM experience for all participants. Your child should be registered for camps that match their age as it will be on August 31, 2025.
Cancellation Policy
If canceling more than 14 days prior to the first day of camp, you may transfer to another camp (space permitting) or receive a refund minus a $50 administration fee.
If canceling fewer than 14 days prior to the first day of camp, you may transfer to a later camp (space permitting). No refund requests will be honored.
